Tila and Tavelah are a musical, twin duo from leeds. They have been singing from the tender age of 3 and from then have always had an eclectic taste and sound in music. Through experiences gigging in all types of venues and cities, Tila and Tavelah range in their singing abilities; singing songs from acoustic soul, to jazz to RnB and even rock. The Twins have also come from a musical background with Brit and Mobo award winner Father Carl Robinson (Working with Cee Lo Green and Finley Quaye) and Singer Mum Annette Morris who has sang with her Sister Paulette Morris backing for Boyzone and Peter Andre and many more. Their musical highlights lay in their ability to perform across the city and to even sing for the Olympic torch ceremony in Leeds.
Not only this but the twins are also creative in terms of songwriting, poetry, dance and drama and have taken part in numerous stage works such as Carnival Messiah (at Harewood House) and ‘The Wiz’ (who they performed alongside Tracey Cohen, from the X factor, and Clive Row from the hit TV show Tracy Beaker. Tila and Tavelah are always looking for more opportunities to broaden their musical abilities, hence why they participated in ‘The Voice UK’ 2014 and pride themselves in their ability to take on a challenge.
